Our School Council had a brilliant day visiting Parliament Buildings in the Stormont Estate. The exciting visit included an interactive presentation on the Assembly and a tour of Parliament Buildings. The primary schools programme looked at Citizenship/Learning for Life and Work, Government and Politics, and History. Thank you to Colm Gildernew (a local MLA) for taking the time to chat and engage with the boys and girls. After their tour, the children were able have their lunch outside enjoying the beautiful weather and scenic estate. To end a wonderful trip the boys and girls had fun at the playpark based within Stormont Estate. A wonderful day out for our aspiring leaders!
