The P6 and P7 children had great fun completing an outdoor maths trail. The children cooperated brilliantly in groups exploring the school grounds and applying their mathematical skills and knowledge in context. The trail questions touched on many areas in maths including: measure conversions, shape, estimating, rounding, perimeter, area, four operations, compass points and angles. After completing the maths trail the boys and girls returned to the classroom to use their answers to decode a word puzzle.
