Today the pupils received the opportunity to catch up with Mr Slane in Shanghai through Microsoft Teams. The pupils were also joined on the video call by Mr Shane’s co teacher Mr Johnson and his two sons who answered lots of questions about school in China as well as their sporting successes, talents and abilities. Mr Slane then also took the pupils on a tour of his school showing their incredible facilities from their swimming arena, to their climbing and bouldering walls and their sports fields, athletics track and basketball courts. The pupils really enjoyed the activity and in particular they also enjoyed asking lots of questions as well as being taught some Mandarin. A massive thank you goes to Mr Slane for facilitating today’s link up again and a huge thank you also must go to Mr Johnson and his sons. We wish them all the very best in the future including with their Olympic aspirations.
