Yesterday the pupils completed the construction portion of their bridge building experiment. The pupils utilised their planning to construct their bridges with the aim of testing their completed bridges in terms of functionality, stability and indeed strength. Today the pupils then tested their created bridges in all three formats, with their bridges being placed outside and exposed to the elements in terms of wind in particular. The class then tested the functionality of their bridges before testing the strength of their bridges. The pupils had absolutely fantastic fun throughout the entire process and indeed after the bridges were all thoroughly tested the results were discussed as well as the reasons behind the results which enabled superb learning within the class. The pupils are all looking forward to more science investigations and science experiments throughout the coming school year.
